The HZT-PS1 is a multi-purpose tubing connection, that blends the strengths of a superior production tubing with the robust tensile and torsional requirements of a workstring. The connection is ideal for production, injection, or disposal wells where routine wellbore cleanout is expected. The thread design and torque stop feature allow for up to 70% greater torque capacity than a CS (Two-Step) type connection and a tensile rating of 134% of tube tensile. The PS-1 is offered as an integral joint or coupled design connection.
The HZT-PS3 Slim Profile connection is designed to allow operators to maximize flow where smaller casing or restricted wellbores are an issue. The PS3 is offered as an integral joint or coupled design connection. As an example – the 2-7/8″ 6.50# PS3 has virtually the same OD as the 2-3/8″ 4.70# EUE T&C 8-Round Connection. Now it is possible to utilize 2-7/8″ tubing in wells previously restricted to 2-3/8″ tubing. An appreciable increase in flow is realized and the connection is “fishable”. The PS3 connection can be ideal for any slim hole production, injection, and disposal well applications. It has a rating of 106% of tube tensile.
